National Development Camps

Housed in world-class facilities, GDI National Development Camps are the pinnacle (P4) of GDI's amateur development camps. Available only to elite netminders with career aspirations, our National Camps provide modern, detailed analysis of technical and tactical skill sets. GDI instructors evaluate each athlete in technical and game environments and mentor each athlete across the entire range of skill sets and situations. This ensures that each goaltender's response is optimal not only in structured technical environments but also during unpredictable game situations.

Lasting 7 days and including lodging. GDI National Camps are directed by GDI Founder and NHL consultant Ian Clark.

Regional Development Camps

Throughout Canada, the USA and Europe, GDI Regional Camps provide world-class programming on a local/regional basis.

Designed for a progression of skill levels, these camps are vital to the long-term growth of a goaltender. Camps for the first two skill levels (INTRO1 and ADV2) drive home the fundamental skills necessary for more sophisticated development. Camps for the third skill level (HP3) provide the highest-level instruction available on a regional basis and are designed for elite-level netminders.

Private Lessons/Consulting

Thanks to high-volume, guided repetition that targets specific development issues, GDI's private, one-on-one instruction expedites the development of goalkeepers. GDI offers private lessons in packages of 1, 5 and 10. Because goaltenders and coaches form dynamic, more productive partnerships over time, the lessons provide unique value with increased frequency.

Satellite Center Curriculums

GDI's Satellite Training Centers offer an array of programming options. A combination of world-class and progressive curriculum options combined with private, in-center lesssons can create the optimal development opportunity. GDI's Satellite Center Curriculums are available in INTRO1, ADV2 and HP3 formats allowing goaltenders to match their program specifically to their development needs. GDI's Satellite Training Center Lessons are available in 1, 5 and 10 packs. As the size of the pack increases, the volume of developmental support increases within your development bundle. Curriculum Training

There's no replacement for progressive, consistent, expert instruction. This is the hallmark of GDI's 24-week training programs. Available in both winter and summer versions only at GDI's world-class Satellite Training Centers, these programs provide superior instruction for goalies whose skills range from introductory to high-performance. Logical and progressive lesson plans ensure that goalies, of all calibers, integrate every skill, technique and tactic into their game.

Bundling a curriculum-based training program and private lessons is an optimal approach that ensures the goaltender follows a structured and guided path while receiving customized development time for areas of specific emphasis.

Midseason Tune-ups

As hockey season wears on, a goaltender's focus naturally drifts as the intense training of the summertime gets farther in the rearview mirror. This is the perfect time for a GDI Midseason Tune-up. Available for skilled competitive players, a Midseason Tune-up refreshes the goaltender's mind and muscle memory. Timed with the Christmas layoff, Midseason Tune-ups provide goalies with an outstanding refresher course just before the stretch run to the playoffs.

Association/Club Consulting

Goalies are the anchors of any good team. Compared to other positions, they need at least as much - if not more - time and quality resources for development. That starts with hiring the world's best instructors in goaltender development to manage these needs.
GDI works with countless minor hockey associations and clubs, at all levels of play, to provide a productive and compelling development environment for goaltenders. GDI instruction is available in team-practice environments, clinic formats or in-facility at a GDI Satellite Training Center.

GDI Conditioning Programs include both on-ice and off-ice activity. Additionally, GDI's automated training creases are available for movement-specific regimens.
