A HISTORY OF SUCCESS AND INNOVATION

It was September 1992, when President and Chief Consultant Ian Clark founded Ian Clark's Goaltender Training Centers Ltd. In 1996, the name was changed to GDI-The Goaltender Development Institute Inc.

Over the course of GDI history, we have established a dominant position in the goaltending community.

GDI established the first residential-style, goaltender-specific camp structure. In addition, the implementation of multiple skill progressions, pre-defined age brackets and the lowest coach/athlete ratios ensures optimal development results.

GDI started its first newsletter back in '92 which, in 1997, evolved into the 36-page periodical FTC. Today, over 60,000 goaltenders world wide reside on GDI databases (the largest in the world).

From camps to consulting, from FTC to GDI's dominant online presence, GDI branding, products and services find their way into the hands of thousands of goaltenders. In fact, the volume of global, GDI brand impressions are in the millions each year. This level of exposure has helped drive GDI to the forefront of the development community. Most importantly, however, is the expanise volume of leading, pro prospect goalies that are branded...GDI!

05/00	Incorporated US versions of GDI and GDI Publishing
03/01	Moved administration to PA
08/01	GDI Director, Ian Clark, hired by Florida Panthers
10/01	Added Cornell University as final NDC location
07/02	GDI Director, Ian Clark, signs multi-year deal with Vancouver Canucks
11/03	Launches GDInet
11/03	Proposed launch of Satellite System
02/04	Launches The Goalie News
